Charred Tenderstem® broccoli with Oriental Dressing

This side dish is simple yet delicious – charred Tenderstem is topped with a tantalizing mix of garlic, ginger, chilli, tamari and toasted sesame seeds for an oriental twist on your favourite vegetable! Recipe created by food blogger, Lucy and Lentils (www.lucyandlentils.co.uk)

Try with Frozen Tenderstem®

Method

  1. Bring a pan of water to the boil and gently simmer the Tenderstem® broccoli for around 3 minutes

  2. Place a griddle pan on high heat adding the sesame seeds, then drain the Tenderstem® broccoli and add to the griddle pan

  3. Leave on a high heat for around 3 minutes until charred, then turn and char the other side

  4. In a small dressing dish, mix the tamari, garlic, ginger, chilli flakes, salt and pepper

  5. Place the Tenderstem® broccoli on a side plate, add the toasted sesame seeds and a drizzle of the dressing and serve
